Coral nursery

In Punta Cana, Iberostar has created the first coral nursery, which will be used to study the resilience of these colonial organisms when faced with climate change. We’ve also launched a project to restore the mangroves at our hotels in the Dominican Republic, in addition to an awareness program at educational institutions.

Wave of Change is the Iberostar Group’s innovative campaign that aims to eliminate plastics, promote responsible fish consumption, and improve coastal health.

Star Camp

The perfect meeting place to take part in organized activities or just play. Star Camp has 3 groups split up by age: Monkey (from 4 to 6 years), Dolphin (from 7 to 12 years) and Eagle (from 13 to 15 years). All groups will enjoy dozens of fun activities that kids can enjoy, such as Capture the flag, Sensory menu, Master Chef, the Photo gallery, Mission (Im)possible, Art in a big way, Lip Sync Star… and many more. Plus, kids have their own pool, playground and special menu in the restaurants. The hotel also features a babysitting service for an additional charge.

Fit & Fun Sports Facilities

You’ll have access to a fitness center (only for people of 16 or older) furnished with the latest exercise equipment and machines. You’ll also have two multi-sport rooms where you can practice spinning, yoga, boot camp, Zumba, kickboxing and body pump classes, among others. All activities are led by certified instructors.

You can also play tennis on the hotel complex’s courts or do water sports on the beach, some of them at no charge for the first hour, such as kayaking, sailing on a catamaran, snorkeling or windsurfing.

SPA Sensations

In the SPA Sensations you can choose from various treatments: from therapeutic massages with analgesic Bengay balsam to a head massage, body massage and reflexology massage for the feet, chocolate exfoliation or a treatment with volcanic mud. You can also relax in the water circuit with whirlpool bath, sauna and tropical showers.

In the Dressel Divers diving center, located in the hotel, you can get your PADI certificate. It also organizes diving excursions to explore underwater passageways, coral gardens, the Astron shipwreck,… and, depending on the time of year, you can listen to the humpback whales sing underwater.
