Sea turtle Watching in Praia do Forte 

Go sea turtle watching at Proyecto Tamar in the Praia do Forte fishing village. This project started in the 1980s and has successfully protected endangered sea turtle species.  Iberostar has an alliance with the Tamar Project since 2005 to protect sea turtles together. This is why the beach where our hotels are located is protected. Moreover, we always collect umbrellas and chairs daily so that turtles can come to lay their eggs and the light in our hotels is dim so that turtles do not get confused and confuse the artificial lights with the moonlight.

His dance imitates the movements of the sea waves, moving his hands as if he were washing the world. Even if his day is celebrated on February 2nd, many people have the custom of making offerings to Iemanjá on New Year's Eve.

These tributes at the turn of the year always take place on the beaches, where people place flowers, white coconuts and perfumes by the sea.
