The world renowned actor from Malaga displayed his support by attending the reopening of Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach, the leading hotel which is also very important to the commitment of the Majorcan chain in Andalusia.
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts incorporated this hotel into its portfolio at the beginning of September 2010, reopening it this season after a complete renovation and modernisation of all its facilities.
Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach Hotel opened on 14th April, with a very special host, Antonio Banderas. The world renowned actor from Malaga, who has been the face of this hotel chain since 2010, did not want to miss out on the chance to be part of the expansion of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts on the Costa del Sol.
As well as Antonio, the Mayoress of Marbella, Maria Ángeles Muñoz, and other representatives of the Marbella City Council were present on the night including Executive Vice-President of the Iberostar Group, Sabina Fluxá Thieneman and Managing Director of Marketing of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, Luis Herault, who highlighted the strategic importance of this destination for the group: "The Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach Hotel is our flagship hotel on the Costa del Sol, a top destination on a national and international level.
