IBEROSTAR LAUNCHES NEW LOYALTY PROGRAM, HORIZONS, HIGHLIGHTING CUSTOM, UNIQUE LOCAL EXPERIENCES

Clients gain status from night one regardless of purchasing channel and accumulate experiences, perks and free nights
Iberostar will honor booked nights for clients who have stayed at its hotels for the past three years
Existing My Iberostar members will automatically be enrolled in the new Horizons program

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, known for its five-star, all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, launches Horizons, a new loyalty program aligned with the brand’s pillars: sustainability and care for people and the environment. The program provides Iberostar guests part of the Horizons community hotel perks, free nights, and access to unique, local experiences inside and out of the property regardless if they booked their stay via Iberostar owned channels (website or call center) or its partners (travel agents and tour operators).

“Horizons reinforces our commitment with our clients and the environment,” said Sarah Despradel, Loyalty Global Director at Iberostar Hotels and Resorts. “We want to establish a deeper connection with our guests and foster our relationships with them. We’re confident that the Horizon treatment will leave clients wanting to come back to any of our 100 hotels around the world to disconnect and relax for an experience they can enjoy through their loyalty status.”

Horizons offers four loyalty levels, Sand, Ocean, Sky and Infinity, which are earned after 1,16, 23 and 36 night-stay respectively at any of Iberostar hotel categories: Iberostar, Selection, Grand and Coral Level. From a welcome pack filled with handcrafted goodies that represent the local culture; spa treatments and purchases within the hotel, unlimited upgrades under requests to exclusive invitations to new hotel openings around the world, as well as unique experiences for the little ones from home. Every local experience at each loyalty level within Horizons is thought out, keeping the customer at the center of the program. 

Iberostar’s loyalty program is now available and free to join via the Iberostar.com website for all customers no matter where they have booked their reservations. Iberostar will honor all room nights to the clients who have stayed at any Iberostar hotel before the launch of the program. Customers who have been part of My Iberostar, the company’s former loyalty program, are automatically enrolled in Horizons.
