Iberostar Hotels & Resorts and Toni Nadal, uncle and coach of the world renowned tennis player, Rafa Nadal, has extended their collaboration for three more years.
Thanks to the agreement signed in 2009, Toni Nadal is always recognised as the man with the Iberostar cap, a classic image on tennis courts worldwide.
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has taken one more step in its commitment to the world of sport by renewing the collaboration agreement with Toni Nadal for another three years. This contractual relation dates back to 2009 and the satisfaction during this time has been such that, even before the end of the contract in December 2011, both parties decided to renew the agreement that will keep Iberostar and Toni Nadal collaborating together until December 2014.
The collaboration between Toni Nadal and Iberostar is famous and notable thanks to the famous cap which Toni Nadal wears and will continue to wear, match after match, but the relationship between the company and Toni Nadal goes even further and clearly spreads to business as they share the same values and Majorcan origin.

This three-year renewal of the collaboration agreement with Toni Nadal forms part of the strategic plan of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts brand that uses sport as one of its key communication platforms.
With this in mind and with the aim of maintaining its connection with sport, the company has been sponsoring the RCD Mallorca stadium, since 2010 which is now called the Iberostar Estadio. It also supports the Iberostar Boat, captained by Javier Banderas and the Olympic medallist Luis Doreste, which has won the latest editions of the Queen's Cup held in Valencia (Spain) and the King's Cup held in Palma of Mallorca (Spain).
The company also sponsors and is the name of the lower categories of Tenerife Basketball Club and Iberostar Basket Mallorca in the Play Offs.
